It’s been big stuff. We decided to make a permanent move to Switzerland in the summer of 2025. The girls have been troopers. Six months later, they're fluent in German, making friends, and enjoying a more independent Swiss life. For me, it’s been a lot of unpacking and setting up the house and getting the girls settled. For Georg, he started a new job. In November I travelled with my brother and sister-in-law to Japan for the first time. But the biggest turn of events is that my mom passed away in December. I returned to Seattle to say good-bye, and then worked with my brother to empty her apartment. Now it’s January, and I continue to get settled, and adjust to a new reality.
